Anastasia ~ "Stasia"

Second Best Lynx Bi-Color in TICA 2007

Retired - Mother of most of our Angels

Champion LapAngels Anastasia Aurora of AngelGirls

T.I.C.A. & C.F.A. Champion - Lilac Lynx Bicolor

2006-2007 TICA's 2nd BEST Lilac Lynx Bicolor of the Year!

Dam: Racing Rags Tennessee Misty Dawn (Registered as a Lilac Bicolor - was actually a Blue bicolor)
Sire: Ragnarok's A Touch of Frost (Lilac Lynx Colorpoint)

Annual Test: October 2007; Negative for FELV, FIV, FIP, Coronavirus, PKD, HCM, and heart murmurs. Distemper, booster, and rabies.

Color/Pattern: Blue (Bbdd)-known chocolate and lilac carrier/Bicolor Mid High White (S4S2)
Blood Type: A

Anastasia is the first Ragdoll that started AngelGirls.  She is a brilliant girl, and thinks she is human.  She was sold as a lilac lynx point bicolor. Breeding (back then they didn't have blood testing) proved she was a blue recessive (Bbdd); still able to produce recessive kittens, like her daughter Annaliese and our Snow White.  She is the house mother and received her Championship status at her first show in TICA & in CFA! Both associations praised her looks and she is the foundation of our cats.  She is also perfectly marked.   She now resides with good friend and Ragdoll owner of Bianca, Linda L. in Washington, DC.

Princess Annaliese ~ "Princess"

AngelGirls' Princess Annaliese

Blue Point Bicolor

Dam: Champion LapAngels/Purrsonable's Anastasia Aurora of AngelGirls
Sire: Lonerock's Chocolate Dust of WillowTreeRags(Chocolate Mitted w/ hourglass blaze)

Annual Test: October 2007; Negative for FELV, FIV, FIP, Coronavirus, PKD, HCM, and heart murmurs. Distemper, booster, and rabies.

Color/Pattern: Blue (Bbdd)-known chocolate carrier/Bicolor Mid High White (S4S2)
Blood Type: A

Annaliese is a blue recessive perfectly marked mid-high bicolor. She is Anastasia's daughter, and got her good looks!  She is a BIG girl and a big cuddler & smoocher! She follows us around the house. She loves and trusts us so much that she always has her kittens on our bed to get our attention and have our help! She is the best mother, and always purrs constantly! It is her face that we have used at the top of our pages and in our moniker at the top and in our ads!  We have kept her son, Prince who is a Champion and won the Second Best Lilac Bicolor in TICA for 2008, so we had to retire beautiful Annaliese, and she now resides in beautiful Texas with Mrs. Doss!

"Gabriella"

BelilaRags' Princess Gabriella of AngelGirls

Lilac Colorpoint

Dam: BelilaRags' Autumn Angel Lily (Seal Colorpoint)
Sire: Champion Blueyed Romeo of BelilaRags (Lilac Colorpoint)

Annual Test: October 2007; Negative for FELV, FIV, FIP, PKD, HCM, and heart murmurs. Distemper, booster, and rabies.

Color/Pattern: Lilac (bbdd) Colorpoint (ss)
Blood Type: A

Gabriella is the little prim and proper princess. She has stunningly deep blue eyes for a lilac, which her kittens inherit. She has to be sitting in someone's lap or she feels neglected. We can always count on her to greet us at the door and give anyone a smile. She is a lilac colorpoint from BelilaRags in Minnesota. Her mom is Lilly, and her father is Champion winner Romeo of Blueyed Cattery, formerly run by the wonderful Fred & Linda Smith (two breeders who worked closely with the lilac and chocolate genes). All of Gabriella's kittens carry the recessive and dilutes that AngelGirls is trying to bring back to the Ragdolls.  We are retiring Gabriella because we wanted to improve her ear set and chin, and have kept her beautiful, sweet daughter, Aurora.  Gabriella went to live in Massachussetts as a lapcat!

"Bella"

AngelGirls' AraBella Bourdeaux

Seal Colorpoint

Dam: BelilaRags' Princess Gabriella of AngelGirls (Lilac Colorpoint)
Sire: RW SGC. WillowTreeRags' Apollo Amadeo (Seal Point Mitted)

Annual Test: October 2007; Negative for FELV, FIV, FIP, Coronavirus, PKD, HCM, and heart murmurs. Distemper, booster, and rabies.

Color/Pattern: Seal (BbDd)-known chocolate and dilute carrier of blue and lilac/Colorpoint (ss)
Blood Type: A

We had been wanting a gorgeous Seal Colorpoint who was a true recessive to allow us to have chocolate, lilac, seal and blue kittens, and we finally were blessed with Bella Bordeaux through Princess Gabriella and Apollo! Her father, Apollo, is a Supreme Grand Champion in TICA and the FIRST Seal Mitted Grand Champion in CFA, "WillowTree Rags' Apollo Amadeo".  She had started going to the show halls, though she preferred being home getting petted.  She is the most beautiful shade of chocolate (as a seal) and looks like a Hershey bar. She spends hours chasing balls when she isn't demanding kisses from us by licking our faces; yes, really.  We kept two of her angel babies, both girls, so we sent her to a new Ragdoll breeder in Israel.

"Snow"

Angelgirl's Snow White Bunny

Snow ~ Blue Bicolor

Annual Test: October 2007; Negative for FELV, FIV, FIP, and heart murmurs. Distemper, booster, and rabies given. PKD and HCM results are negative.

Color/Pattern: Blue (Bbdd) - Recessive blue, carrying lilac/Bicolor Mid High White (S4S2)
Blood Type: A

Snow White is absolutely stunning... We wanted another blue bicolor to replace our Annaliese.  But Snow turned out to be a dominant blue carrying lilac, so she only has blues with our lilac boys, so we are retiring her.  She is the mother of our latest new stud, "Champagne Bubbles".  She is also the calmest snuggle bunny.  She especially loves doing the laundry as there are so many fun places to hide!  She has a gorgeous face and stunning bedroom eyes... She was only about 7 months in these pictures.  The boys liked her best! I think she is one of those girls all the boys adore! She now lives the life of Riley as a pet!

"Duchess"

Fallondolls Princess Duchess of AngelGirls

 Seal and Red Tortie Mitted

Dam: MourningDove Taia
Sire: Dollmaker My Neo of FairyTailSland

Annual Test: October 2007; Negative for FELV, FIV, FIP, and heart murmurs. Distemper, booster, and rabies given. PKD and HCM negative.

Color/Pattern: Seal (BbDd Oo)-carrier of Blue and Red/Mitted (S2s)
Blood Type: A

Duchess has deep blue eyes and perfect stance and mitts. She is such a sweetie and will nurse any kitten or lend a helping paw or kiss at any time. She plays surrogate mother to all the kittens and purrs all the time.  She doesn't have a bad bone in her sweet body.  Some other things we love about Duchess is that she is a seal carrying all kinds of colors and can also have tortie girls.  She has large litters, from six to twelve! We love torties, like Duchess, as no two faces are ever the same; just like snowflakes!  She is the mother of our gorgeous "Addie Rose" who we expect to do fabulous in the show halls, and our up and coming "Lorelei."  She is now a beloved lapcat!

Information on Viruses and Diseases that Take the Ones we Love...

We haven't had a kitten or cat have FIP yet, but it is greatly misunderstood.  Please read below.

FIP:

"FIP is a notoriously difficult condition to diagnose, and many other conditions present very similar clinical signs. FIP is caused by common strains of the coronavirus (FCoV) which in itself is a mild virus that usually runs its course in two weeks.  Luckily, most cats don't develop FIP from being exposed to feline coronavirus. Rather, the majority of exposed cats will show no signs of disease or only minimal ones, including a mild upper respiratory disease with sneezing, water eyes, a runny nose or a mild intestinal problem. Some cats will shed the virus for a brief time, but after several months, most will eliminate it and never be bothered again, unless they become reinfected.

Definitive diagnosis of FIP is only possible at post mortem, or occasionally by biopsy (though for accurate biopsy results one has to actually biopsy a visible pyogranulomatous lesion in either the abdomen or the lungs, which may necessitate laparotomy, which is surgery to gain access into the abdominal cavity through the abdominal wall). Only 18% of samples sent to a laboratory at the University of Glasgow that had a FIP diagnosis actually turned out to be FIP. Since cats with FIP are usually euthanized by the vets diagnosing them, it is absolutely vital that FIP is accurately differentiated from other, treatable, conditions.  And therefore, RFW recommends that a FIP diagnosis is followed up with a second opinion from a vet who has not been given the FIP diagnosis.

In America, the FCoV RT-qPCR test is the one that RFW recommends, which is available from Dr Christian Leutenneger' s laboratory at UC-Davis. You can download a sample submission form from his website.  In addition, there is currently a relatively new drug available, a feline interferon omega by Virbac that cures one quarter to a third of the cases that actually have FIP.  Naturally, it is our desire for no cats to contract FIP in the first place, never mind die from it, but do not automatically assume your cat has to be euthanized if you receive a diagnosis of FIP from a vet."
