Our Angel Girls, Our Ragdoll Queens

Here at Angel Girl Ragdolls we only have a few ragdoll girls who are mothers. This means we only have a few litters a year. We only breed them for approximately three years and then they retire to the good life, otherwise known as their Furr-ever Families. Usually these wonderful places are past customers who already have one of our ragdoll kittens, and whom we have become friends with. We believe that mothering can be hard on a ragdoll, and so we limit their time as breeders. Since mommy Aurora had a hysterectomy, a client brought us back a daughter of Aurora's so that we can continue her legacy! Thank you so much Ayse! We have the best clients! Lilou is just as good a mommy as her mother, Aurora, was. She kisses and loves up her babies, and even tries to steal other kittens to add to her brood, when and if there are others available! She is the only Ragdoll who doesn't play with our dogs! She looks at them like they are dirty critters not fit for her company! Lilou is definitely the Royal Queen of the house! She follows the lilac tradition here of having the kittens with the SOFTEST bunny-like fur, and the sweetest angelic faces!

When you are a breeder of Ragdolls, you want a female who can produce the most color and pattern combinations. It has taken us four generations to get Lorelei! First of all, her grandmother was Mourningdove Taia, which we love. She is also a rare Seal who can have chocolate and lilac kittens, as well as blue! In addition, she is a tortie carrying the cream gene, so she can have Red, Cream, and tortie kittens in ANY color combination! This means that Lorelei could have ANY of the following kittens in any litter: Seal (BbDd), Blue (Bbdd), Chocolate (bbDd), Lilac (bbdd), Red, (OO), Cream (oo), Seal/Red Tortie, Blue/Cream Tortie, Chocolate/Red Tortie, Lilac/Cream Tortie! We can not wait to see what color combinations she has each time! Lorelei is our sweetest girl and acts like the baby of the group! She likes to be carried around! Lola is a magnificent 'to-type ragdoll' show girl. She has a really nice cobby, solid body, and is very large for a female breeder. She is super-duper loving, and a devoted mother. She charms everyone she meets with her unique "chirp" meow, which is pure Ragdoll charm. She loves to be scratched behind the ears, and then she coo's and chirps, which the kids like to do to her just for the giggles it gives them. Her best feature is her beautiful eyes, and her human-like smile. Her kittens are inheriting her smile, which we find so charming.

Lady Godiva is our first mink Ragdoll! We were not planning on having minks, but we fell in love with her the minute we saw her. She is very large, feels like a mink coat, and is sugary, super sweet. She is usually the first to greet anyone at the door. She has fabulous caribbean blue eyes (which are a tad aqua) and perfect show quality mitted markings. Her eyes are only exceeded by her wonderful bunny soft coat and her fabulous Ragdoll personality. She is a cuddle bug who loves to have her belly rubbed, and her kittens are beautiful and very, very friendly too. When mated with what is termed a traditional Ragdoll, she will have approximately half mink and half traditional kittens. We predict that Minks are going to be accepted for show status in CFA and TICA, and we think Lady Godiva is going to show that MINKS are here to stay. Lola just adores people. She loves to sleep in bed with us and is a fantastic surrogate mother to all the kittens here. is a magnificent 'to-type ragdoll' show girl. She is a serious people person and doesn't understand when she is treated like a cat. If you do NOT like sweet, cuddling, purring kitties in your lap, then please don't meet our Angel! She is the first to find a warm lap to curl into and start her purring.
